About Us
Africa Ihsan Aid Foundation (AIAF) is an independent, non-profit organization founded by Somali professionals, volunteers, and scholars to support vulnerable communities through Islamic values of mercy, justice, and solidarity. Growing out of the Adeeg Bulsho Foundation established in 2019, AIAF addresses humanitarian needs such as poverty, displacement, health crises, and education.
The Foundation operates across Somalia, Kenya, and Turkey, delivering programs in emergency relief, health, education, livelihood, orphan and widow support, and youth empowerment. Through partnerships and community engagement, AIAF strives to improve living standards and empower communities to thrive with dignity.
Chairman Statement
Africa Ihsan Aid Foundation (AIAF) is a non-profit, non-governmental organization founded by Somali professionals, volunteers, and scholars to uplift vulnerable communities through the Islamic values of mercy, justice, and solidarity. Originating from Adeeg Bulsho Foundation in 2019, AIAF was created in response to urgent humanitarian needs such as displacement, poverty, drought, food insecurity, health crises, and lack of education.
With operations now in Somalia, Kenya, and Turkey, AIAF delivers a wide range of programs including emergency relief, healthcare, education, livelihoods, orphan and widow sponsorship, peacebuilding, heritage preservation, and youth empowerment. Guided by community participation and sustainable strategies, the Foundation works to improve living standards, foster dignity, and build resilience among marginalized populations.
Geographical Coverage
Along with our network and partnering organizations, we are able to conduct activities across the whole of Somalia and to implement the different thematic areas of our activities to the members of the community. We have now expanded our scope to cover the republic of Kenya and Turkey. We have the capacity to engage and mobilize individuals as well as organization networks to implement our programs across the country.
